Information and Inspiration from Professionals in Fitness and Nutrition

At Optimise we are passionate about removing barriers to fitness. We love supporting clients who lack confidence, knowledge or are struggling with health conditions to find the right class or gym routine that can help them work towards their goals in spite of their challenges.  The menopause, peri, during or post, can be time of great change and is one hurdle that we can help guide you through.  

On Friday September 9th 2022 we have teamed up with local experts to bring a morning of advice and demo classes all themed around supporting woman with the menopause.   Although class numbers will be capped, our instructors will be available to chat to during the morning.  

We hope to inform and inspire with free sessions and give you priority booking for courses and classes coming up.   Read below about our teachers and the sessions that will run. 

Tickets will be available via Event Bright.  If you would like to attend one of the classes please also create an account for our facility or we can do this on the day. This is needed so that health and safety T&C's can be agreed.

Benefits of Resistance Training with Angie

The benefits of resistance training are well known but this often seems like the most difficult activity to take up.  We will discuss the benefits in the studio, give demos and introduce you to the gym area, discuss the equipment we have and the great exercises you can start improving your health with. 


Pilates for Menopause with Melissa

Melissa is an extremely experienced and qualified Pilates instructor and NHS cardio-rehabilitation exercise specialist. 
Melissa has created a 6-week Pilates for Menopause course and will introduce this to you as well as taking you through a demonstration of a Pilates class. 


Yoga for Menopause and mental health

Leeanne is the founder of Peak Yoga in Perth and this is her regular teaching time at Optimise.  Join our regulars for this special session to experience the benefits of yoga for body and mind. 


Nutrition Advice

This relaxed session will run in the studio and give general advice and allow time for questions to help you navigate the plethora of conflicting advice available to us.

Naturopathic Nutrition 

Sarah is an independent, local advisor who will join us for the morning  in the café area and will be available to chat and advise on all things menopausal from general health to specific symptom management and also prevention.
